|my comic, read it: whatwerememberthemost.jades.ne…|
Hey, so (as I mentioned earlier) in five months I’ll be heading out on my mission, which means I’ve had to work on a buffer of comic pages for while I’m out. I’d like to be able to have as many pages ready from when I’m gone, but I’m still only human.
One of my lovely readers suggested a great idea to me to help with page deficits while I’m gone,
This would be a great opportunity to be able to make updates on my comic more frequent than they might otherwise have been, so I’d love to try it out.
Now I’m not the most prolific artist, so I don’t expect to have the largest amount of people who will be able to contribute, and I’m not banking on this for when I’m gone, but it would be super helpful for me, it’d be more updates for you the reader, and (speaking from experience) fan comics are fun to make.
How this will work is after a comic has been submitted, I will add it somewhere strategically in my buffer, and sometime over the following two year absence, your comic will show up as the comic update for that particular day. In the comments for that day I’ll tell everyone who made it and link them to whatever site you use to advertise your art.
Now, while I would be glad to accept whatever stuff I get and I’d certainly appreciate getting something, I do have to establish some rules for this, just to make things easier for me in the long run:
Rules (all Very important, I’d hate to do it, but I’ll have to turn down anything that doesn’t fit these rules):
All comics should be in either the .JPEG or the .PNG file format. They should also be 800 pixels wide. This is make sure my layout online stays consistent
Please, Please keep it SFW/PG rated. When I started WWRTM, I firmly decided that it would not be something that I couldn’t show to other people easily. I just can’t put something that could be considered R or NSFW into my comic (so nothing sexual, or overly gory or the like.)
Comics do not have to be canon, they can be in whatever time, setting etc. you want, just make sure the characters are in character.
I think I will say that I’d prefer if the characters included were the characters already in What We Remember The Most. I enjoy other people’s characters a lot, but I think (at least for my first guest comic event) I’m going to simplify the process and ask to focus on the character’s I’ve made for the comic
The last time I can accept comics will be JULY 20 2014, any time after that and I probably will be too busy preparing to go to be able to put it in.
How to submit a comic:
Send comic entries you have firstname.lastname@example.org It’d be helpful if you gave it a title like “guest comic” or something, but I’ll leave that to your discretion.
Thank you in advance to anyone who may decide to contribute, you guys are the best (all of my readers are the best, if we’re being honest.)
I have been an artist of furries for about as long as I've been on DA, maybe a little longer. I love what I draw, and I wouldn't want to draw anything else. As of October 2012, I've started a comic I've had in the works for a long time. This comic has been my labor of love, and I'm proud to finally have it out there.|
(the comic is titled "What We Remember The Most." pretty much all the characters I draw are for that comic, check out the link below for any more info.)
